FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil industry and can be used for creating optimal thermal rate in oil producing wells and oil pipelines for preventing asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits in production tubing of oil wells and oil pipelines. Method of thermal rates regulation in oil wells and oil pipelines includes descending of cable with heating element into production tubing at a depth where the temperature of oil well fluid is above the point of paraffin-hydrates crystallisation. Cable heating element is connected to the controlled power supply. Note that heating element evolves specific power along production tubing. Temperature calculation of the heating element by control system for its protection and control is carried out according to the provided mathematical expression.
EFFECT: minimisation of consumed power at reaching well optimal operation, increase of reliability and decrease of operation costs.
