SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices and methods for extracting the medium from wells, in particular oil, with the provision of determining the parameters of the medium. The pumping unit includes: an operating voltage generation unit (OVGU), including a mains input, a low-voltage output, a zero power output and a power output; a stable current generator, the power input of which is connected to the power output of the operating voltage generation unit and includes a power output; a current sensor installed on the power output of a stable current generator; the controller of the ground control station connected to the current sensor and made with the possibility of measuring the pulse duration of the current sensor and calculating the density of the medium; in this case, the OVGU and the stable current generator of the ground control station are connected to the underground equipment by a multi-core cable, while the underground equipment includes: a plunger pump, a submersible three-phase linear DC drive connected to the plunger pump and including an electric motor and an electric motor control unit (EMCU) connected to it; at the same time, the submersible three-phase linear DC drive is made with the possibility of operating in the CDCM mode (contactless DC motor) with self-switching, the power input of the EMCU is connected to the power output of the stable current generator of the ground control station by means of a multi-core cable, and the zero power input of the EMCU is connected to the zero power output of the OVGU of the ground control station, while the low-voltage input of the EMCU is connected to the low-voltage output of the OVGU.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of oil extracting equipment.
