FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: thrust bearing assembly consists of pivot (1), centre pivot (2), in a gap between which a bearing provided with possibility of gas dynamic formation of gas lubrication is arranged, which is equipped with compressed gas supply device to gap (3) between pivot (1) and working surface of bearing. As bearing there used is paddle-type bearing including support (4) and carrying (5) boards made in the form of washers or discs from elastic material, the latter of which forms working surface of bearing. Support board (4) is made in the form of spring structure. Pivot (1) is pressed on shaft (6). Compressed gas supply device is made in the form of through channels (7) made on rear side of pivot (1), the outlet holes (8) of which are distributed along surface of pivot (1), which faces working gap (3), and receiving holes (9) have the possibility of receiving compressed air from external supply at shaft (6) rotation. Shaft (6) is equipped with holes (11) for gas supply inside shaft (6) and has axial hole (12) for gas movement inside shaft (6), as well as holes (13) for gas removal from shaft and its supply to channels (7).
EFFECT: improving reliability and carrying capacity of bearing.
