FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in high-speed machinery. Support bearing assembly includes shaft (2) bearing, in the gap between which has petals configured to form a gas-dynamic gas lubrication, provided with means for supplying a pressurized gas into gap (3) between shaft (2) and the bearing surface. Used is a lobed bearing, comprising at least support (4) and carrier (5) boards made as sleeves of resilient material, last (5) of which forms the bearing surface. Means for supplying pressurized gas into gap (3) between shaft (2) and the bearing surface is designed as through-channel (6) formed in shaft (2), exhaust openings (7) which are distributed over the surface of shaft (2) facing in working air gap, and a feed opening through channel (6) arranged in shaft (2) is arranged to receive compressed gas from an external source during the rotation of shaft (2).
EFFECT: further increase the bearing capacity of the bearing of the tab, by supplying pressurized gas from an external source, and also increase the cooling efficiency of the working surface lubricating gas.
