FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: mechanical quantity is measured on three coordinate axes using a primary transducer. The signal is converted to digital form. N values of the digital signal are accumulated. The average value of the accumulated data, the modulus of the difference of each accumulated value with the average calculated value are calculated and then compared with the value of the threshold level. If at least one of three channels of the difference modulus exceeds the threshold level value, a data packet is formed, which contains the accumulated N signal values on each of the three channels and then recorded into electrically programmable nonvolatile memory. The next N values of the digital signal are simultaneously accumulated. The recording device for realising this method is in form of an IC chip based unit.

EFFECT: high accuracy of the recorded parameters.
