FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining tribotechnical components of vibroacoustic spectra of triboconjugations is implemented during vibroacoustic tests of triboconjugations of machines and mechanisms. Three-dimensional vibroacoustic frequency spectra are built for triboconjugations in "noise frequency or vibrations-noise level or vibrations-sliding speed" coordinates in friction mode and in idle mode (at absence of friction interaction); then, there determined are components of spectra, which are characterised with a constant not depending on frequency sliding speed and occurring in vibroacoustic frequency spectra only in friction mode, which are taken as tribotechnical components determined with friction processes.
EFFECT: high degree of reliability of identification of tribotechnical components in vibration and noise spectra at operation of friction assemblies.
