SUBSTANCE: coaxial resonator relates to microwave frequencies technique and is intended for creation of microwave frequency-selective devices, driving circuits of active oscillators, etc. coaxial resonator contains housing - screen inside which section of coaxial waveguide is located where external and internal conductors of coaxial waveguide are closed by one end to screen from opposite sides.

EFFECT: decreased dimensions of coaxial resonator, increase in its quality factor, increased ratio of frequencies of the first two resonances.
