SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by means of preventing change of its gaps width using simple design according to which between hold-down nut and packing element inside a threaded sleeve, a push-element is located which is intended to affect packing element and represents spring element the initial force of which can be adjusted by the mentioned hold-down nut. In this structure, an indicator element is linked with this push-element.
EFFECT: providing intrinsic safety of cable gland.
