FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to orthodontic dentistry, namely to compactotomy and can be used in complex treatment of patients with dentoalveolar anomalies. Perforation of cortical plate of jaw bone tissue is carried out in direction of further teeth displacement with further application of orthodontic apparatuses. Perforation is performed with laser ray with wavelength 800-1500 nm, maximal outlet with power 25 W, pulse 200 milliseconds, porosity 1 to 4. Impact is carried out during 1 minute, with formation in cortical plate holes with diameter 0.1-0.5 mm and depth 1.5 mm. Perforations are made through 3-4 mm, evenly along entire length of roots of displaced teeth in projection of direction of tissue changes.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce treatment duration, as term before beginning of application of orthodontic forces is reduced by 5-6 days due to reduction of trauma to tissues of mucosa, periosteum and alveolar process of jaws, increase of degree of surgery asepticity and increase of possibility to adapt methodology of compactotomy to specific clinical conditions.
