SUBSTANCE: maximum permissible temperature of a drying agent is maintained, its specific supply is determined depending on its temperature, the initial and the final moisture of the material in the interval of the layer height from 0.1 to 0.7 m, the layer height is limited with head losses in it, at the same time, when determining the specific supply of the drying agent, the moisture evaporation coefficient and specific surface of the material are taken into account using the formula where q - the specific supply of the drying agent, kg/kg·s; f - the specific surface of the material m2/kg; σ - evaporation coefficient, σ=α/s; kg/m s; α - heat emission ratio W/m2 °C; c - heat capacity of the drying agent, kJ/kg2 °C; ΔU=(U1-U2), where U1, U2 - initial and final moisture content of the material, accordingly, kg/kg; i0, i1, i2 - enthalpy of the drying agent at the inlet to the layer, a steam and air film on the material surface at the initial and medium temperature of the material, accordingly, besides, head losses in the layer are calculated using the formula where ΔPL - head losses in the layer, kPa; Q0 - maximum fan flow rate at Pf, m3/hr; Pf - full head of the fan, kPa; Q - fan flow rate at ΔPL, determined using the characteristic of the specific fan, m3/hr; ΔPdr - head losses in the layer, in an empty drier.
EFFECT: using the method will make it possible to increase the specific efficiency and to efficiently dry not only wheat, but also rape, corn and other crops.
