FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: gas is compressed in a closed measurement chamber with built-in temperature and pressure sensors and condensate formation signalling device. Temperature and pressure are recorded the moment condensate forms in the measurement chamber and at the point where the analysed gas is collected. The measured values are transmitted to a processing and control device and the value of weight ratio of gas moisture d [kg/kg] is determined using empirical relationships. where P is pressure of compressed gas in the measurement chamber (at which condensate is formed), Pa, Pp is partial pressure of vapour of the collected gas sample, Pa, where t is temperature of the compressed gas in the measurement chamber (at which condensate is formed), °C.

EFFECT: high measurement accuracy and reliability.
