FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modification of inverse vertical seismic profiling (VSP) using a working drill bit as a source of elastic vibrations, where said drill bit is exposed to further impact loads from hydropercussion device mounted over the drill bit. In this modification, elastic vibrations propagating from the bottom of the well being drilled in the surrounding rocks are picked up by seismic detectors located in the near-surface zone, and a reference signal generated by the drill bit is picked up in the top part of the drill column and directly over the drill bit and the signal from the top seismic detector is used for preliminary pick-up of wanted waves from records recorded by the seismic detectors, said wanted waves bearing information on seismic parameters of rocks surrounding the well, as well as lying under the bottom, and the signal from the bottom seismic detector is used for final signal processing. More specifically, the invention relates to that case when more than one well is drilled in an investigated geologic feature and is aimed at increasing the volume of the obtained real-time information on the drilled feature and cutting costs for obtaining said information.
EFFECT: cutting costs on real-time acquisition of geologic and technological information on several objects being simultaneously drilled, high resolution of the method and high noise-immunity of the method.
