SUBSTANCE: signal of a preamble of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) (C, A, B) with cyclic extensions, having frequency shift. Together these cyclic expansions form a frequency-shifted version of the OFDM preamble signal. The value of frequency correction and time shift are assessed and efficiently corrected using concatenation in the time area, after which the OFDM preamble signal is coherently summed in the frequency area. Assessment and correction of phased errors in the frequency area are carried out after quick Fourier transformation of received signals. The actual preamble is detected, and additional parameters are extracted from this OFDM preamble, which are required for further reception of transmitted OFDM symbols.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of synchronisation.
