FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: combine for harvesting root crops is adapted to store temporarily some amount of tubers, and comprises a base of the digger made with the ability to dig tubers, and a transporting system. The system contains a number of transporters that move the tubers on the combine for harvesting root crops. The transporting system has the first and second selected working configurations. In the first working configuration the system moves the tubers from the base of the digger to the output where it unloads the tubers from the combine for harvesting root crops. In the second working configuration the system moves the tubers along the transporting system during a certain period of time and then moves the tubers to the starting position in the transporting system.
EFFECT: invention provides a temporary storage of root crops through recirculation of tubers on the transporting system of the combine.
