FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: propose invention may be used in production of construction materials. Mill drum is divided by baffle into coarse and fine grinding chambers. Proposed method comprises preloading set of milling ball together with material to be ground and additional grinding balls with sizes smaller than those of openings in baffle and outlet grid. After milling, finished product is unloaded together with additional grinding balls for both to be separated and fed into drum with material to be ground. Mill drum is loaded by grinding balls to 20-30% of its volume. Weight of additional grinding balls makes 30-35% of that of primary set while weight of material to be ground makes 14-18 % of total weight of grinding balls.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, shorter grinding cycle.
