FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises water flow aeration by injecting atmospheric air by said flow. Flow is driven by surplus pressure developed by air lift weight, ballast and/or axial force. For this, limited volume of water is isolated to develop surplus pressure on free surface of said isolated volume. Proposed device comprises air lift casing with hydraulic seals, water discharge branch pipe, mixing chamber, atmospheric air inlet into mixing chamber and section of lift tube. Besides, device comprises limiting case with suction valve at its inlet and lifting device, for example, capstan. Lift tube and air lift casing is suspended on lifting device cable.
EFFECT: lifting water from open basis.
