FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: gas analyser has an optical unit 1, inside of which there is a channel 4 for transmitting infrared radiation, a control unit 5, an infrared source 6 and an infrared receiver 7 in form of a high-speed differential photovoltaic detector with a reflector-filter. The optical unit 1 of the gas analyser has an inner channel 4 for transmitting infrared radiation, which is in form of a multi-path mirror optical cell capable of concentrating infrared radiation transmitted through it, an infrared source 6 and an infrared receiver 7. The infrared source 6 is a high-speed pulsed light-emitting diode which generates infrared radiation directed onto a concentrator in the cell.

EFFECT: invention provides high sensitivity, high transmission coefficient of infrared radiation, minimum scattering of radiation energy from its source to its receiver, small dimensions and minimum power consumption.
