FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: method for storing log likelihood ratios in an interleaved form in which transmission of a plurality of interleaved codewords is received. Said transmission is at least one codeword bit short in at least one of said codewords; the value of the log likelihood ratio (LLR) for the plurality of interleaved codewords is obtained; the LLR value is stored in memory; the plurality of interleaved codewords is deinterleaved after the LLR has been stored in memory; and a bit decision of the deinterleaved codewords is performed using the stored LLR values. During said storage, LLR values are stored without zero filling for said at least one codeword bit; and during said deinterleaving, zero filling is performed for said at least one codeword bit.

EFFECT: cutting the number of readings from memory and easier memory addressing owing to that reading from memory and writing to memory is carried out continuously.
