FIELD: communication means.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for transmission with incremental redundancy (IR) in MIMO communication system. Transmitter unit processes (for example, codes, divides, alternates and modulates) data packages based on the selected speed to get multiple blocks of data symbols. Transmitter unit sends one block of symbols at a time, until receiver does not errorless restore data package, or until all the blocks are transmitted. Regardless of the time of acceptance of data symbol blocks from the transmitter unit, receiver detects accepted block of data symbols to get the detected block of symbols, processes (for example, demodulates, re-alternates, selects and decodes) all the detected blocks of symbols, received for the data package, and provides decoded package. If the decoded package contains an error, then the receiver repeats processing, while another block of symbols is being accepted for the data package. Receiver may as well perform repeated iterative detection and decoding on the accepted blocks of symbols for the data package to get a decoded package.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of data transmission.
