SUBSTANCE: apparatus has two quadrature channels, an accumulator, a π/2 phase changer, a low-pass filter, a phase detector, an inverter, a controlled generator, an apparatus which generates a signal at the first output, which characterises the value of frequency mismatch between the received and reference signals, and at the second output - calculated mismatch frequency of the received and reference signals F, an adder, a reference signal generator and a threshold device. Each quadrature channel includes a multiplier, a band-pass filter, an analogue-to-digital converter, a digital matched filter, a squaring unit and a maximum signal detector.

EFFECT: reliable synchronisation of a transmitter and a receiver on carrier frequency in communication channels with considerable frequency instabilities and energy constraints.
