FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: axial-radial tunnel blade wheel represents a front annular disk 1 and a back disk 2 mounted on an axis of rotation of the blade wheel. The back disk 2 comprises principal and binding channels 3. 4. The front annular disk 1 with an inlet for liquid or gas supply inside the blade wheel, and the back disk 2 whereon there are provided the principal channels 3 and binding channels 4 forming the principal tunnels and the binding tunnels with a total width of the principal tunnels specified equal to a perimetre of circle of the hole of the front annular disk 1.
EFFECT: higher efficiency by decreasing any front rotational resistance of the blade wheel, increasing maximum permissible rotation speed and noise reduction.
