FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: on a cover of a cylinder head (14) and on a cover of a piston rod (16) there are provided a first damping element (40) and a second damping element (64) respectively which are located on both end faces of the cylinder (10) so that they face the piston (18). The first damping element (40) and the second damping element (64) are made of an elastic material and contain a major portion of the damping element (42, 66) whereto the piston (18) adjoins, and a number of legs (44, 68) projecting from the major portion of the damping element (42, 66) and clamped respectively between a the cover of the cylinder head (14) and the cover of the piston rod (16) and an internal surface of a cylinder body wall (12).

EFFECT: simplified manufacturing of the cylinder.
