SUBSTANCE: hydraulic (pneumatic) cylinder (10A) is equipped with cylinder liner (12), piston (18) and piston rod (20). Piston (18) assembly comprises piston housing (38) formed from a plurality of elements and provided with groove (36) for mounting the gasket. Piston housing (38) includes first piston element (40) and second piston element (42), layer-by-layer superimposed in axial direction. Combination of at least two elements from said plurality of elements forms groove (36) for mounting sealing gasket. One or both elements - first piston element (40) and/or second piston element (42) are equipped with section (46) of relief with depth in axial direction.
