FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: in a rotary jet projectile, stabiliser blades are insulated from the jet engine vessel with the help of a thin-walled cylinder with an external diameter of 0.80…0.95 of the projectile calibre, with the length exceeding the side chord of the blades, and the thickness of 0.01…0.03 of its external diameter, fixed above a circular groove formed by the external surface of the jet engine nozzle. In the thin-walled cylinder at the side of concave surfaces of the blades there are through holes provided in amount of at least two along the side chord of each blade. Closer to the front edge of the blade the opening is arranged from it at the distance of not more than 0.3 of the blade side chord length. Rear edges of stabiliser blades in the area of the side chord are displaced from a bottom cut of a jet engine towards the head part by a value of 0.25…0.75 of the diameter of the output cross section of the nozzle. Between the thin-walled cylinder and the bottom cut of the jet engine on its side surface there is a circular collar arranged with the diameter exceeding the diameter of the thin-walled cylinder, and making 1.05…1.10 of the diameter of the output cross section of the jet engine nozzle. The nose part of the head part is made with a nose, the diameter of which makes 0.05…0.15 of the projectile calibre.
EFFECT: higher fighting efficiency and reliability of projectile functioning.
