FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: projectile is arranged in accordance with the "canard" aerodynamic design. The projectile comprises a body with a sharpened nose part, a stabiliser and aerodynamic control elements - steers. The shape of the nose part is arranged as combined and comprises the front and rear parts. The front part is arranged with a stepped profile having a spherical blunting with a radius of 0.03…0.06 of the projectile calibre. The rear part is arranged with a conical shape having a cone semi-opening angle that does not exceed the angle of inclination of a tangent to the stepped profile of the front nose part in place of their connection. The length of the section with the stepped profile makes 0.25…0.75 of the nose part length. The stabiliser is arranged in the form of opening blades, the root chord of which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the projectile. Swing of aerodynamic control elements - steers - does not exceed swing of stabiliser blades.
EFFECT: increased combat effectiveness of a projectile.
