FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: integrated navigation and aiming system comprises the following, interconnected by a data exchange line: a base navigation system, viewing and aiming apparatus for detecting and tracking targets, communication apparatus, as well as units for generating navigation parameters, controlling, generating coordinates of reference points, generating aircraft coordinates and memory. The integrated navigation and aiming system of a single aircraft operates as follows. In conditions when the base navigation system enables high-precision determination of aircraft coordinates (with correction from radio navigation apparatus for a known period of time for independent calculation after correction), the integrated navigation and aiming system, through the viewing and aiming apparatus, enables high-precision determination of relative coordinates of reference points and further - geographic coordinates of the reference points. These coordinates are stored in the on-board memory unit of the integrated navigation and aiming system. During flight, a bank of reference points with accurate coordinates accumulates, said coordinates being used to increase accurate of base navigation system.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining coordinates of aircraft, reference points, any pairs of aircraft within a group, ensuring equal accuracy of determining coordinates of aircraft in a group.
