FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement information systems and combat aircraft systems. Proposed protected method of tying to a mobile ground target is based on a combination of a kinematic method of determining the inclined range (KMDR) and a modified elevation method for determining the current range to a mobile ground target (MEMDR) and involves implementation of optimal procedure of inertial-Doppler estimation and correction, as well as synthesis of baro-inertial channel for formation of absolute height and vertical speed.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of optoelectronic sighting and navigation systems (OESNS) of combat purpose objects by developing an additional, secure method of binding to a mobile ground target, as well as improving accuracy and efficiency of combat task (CT) solution by developing an alternative prediction of motion parameters of the target, unified with the mode of binding the optimal estimation procedure based on the modified, invariant to the relief of the underlying surface of the elevation procedure for calculating the inclined range.
