FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for prediction of urinary stone disease consists in sampling urine, measuring diuresis, determining the urine calcium ions (Ca2+), oxalate-ions (C2O4 2-), phosphate ions (PO4 3-) concentrations with additionally evaluated creatinine excretion and using the derived values by formula:
wherein: Kss is a supersaturation coefficient; C is the analysed ion concentration, mg/ml or mmole/ml; D is the diuresis, ml/day; Ecr is the creatinine excretion, mmole/day; the supersaturation coefficient is calculated, an if observing the supersaturation coefficient for C2O4 2- ions exceeding 0.1; for PO4 3- ions exceeding 2.0; for Ca2+ ions exceeding 0.1, urinary stone disease is predicted.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction of urinary stone disease.
