FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device includes two antiparallel connected thyristors (cut in series and on load) control electrodes whereof are connected via a thermoresistor with a positive temperature coefficient of resistance (posistor), for example, a filament lamp while the two "control electrode - cathode" chains of each thyristor are shunted with thermoresistors with a positive temperature coefficient of resistance with electrolytic capacitors cut-in parallel to them.
EFFECT: design cheapening and simplification, provision for automatic functions of minimum load power maintenance for increase of the load service life and electric energy saving; usage in the capacity of pulse-series generator element during operation with capacitive load for increase of feed voltage thereon; enhanced reliability of the thyristors work in case of their overheating through usage of thermal protection; protection against overvoltage within a monophase or a multiphase system.
