FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an ion-selective electrode, having a sensitive element based on a transition metal oxide, which is in form of a membrane lying on a current collector and placed in a housing, where the membrane contains polyvinyl chloride, dibutylphthalate and molybdenum trioxide MoO3, with the following ratio of components polyvinyl chloride: dibutylphthalate: MoO3=0.5-3.0:0.05-0.40:2-40, respectively, and the current collector is in form of a graphite rod.
EFFECT: design of the ion-selective electrode according to the invention is characterised by short response time and high stability of operating characteristics.
