FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of potentiometric methods of control and management of technological processes, in particular, to materials designed for use as a sensitive element of ion-selective electrodes for quantitative detection of lead ions concentration in aqueous solutions. Concept of the invention is as follows: composition of a membrane of an ion-selective electrode for detecting lead ions comprises a molybdenum trioxide MoO3 as an electrode-active component, and the plasticiser is dibutyl phthalate, and additionally - polyvinyl chloride at the following ratio of components: polyvinyl chloride: dibutyl phthalate: MoO3=0.5÷3.0:0.05÷0.40:2÷40.
EFFECT: electrode, a working element of which is this membrane, is characterised with sufficient selectivity relative to ions of alkaline, rare earth and transition metals, a short response time, and also high stability of working characteristics.
