TREATMENT METHOD OF FORMATION OF BITUMINOUS SANDS, AND TRANSPORT FUEL PRODUCED USING ABOVE MENTIONED METHOD Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC E21B43/24

Abstract RU 2453692 C2

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: first portion of hydrocarbon formation is heated in formation using one or more heaters located in formation; heating is controlled to increase fluid intake capacity of the specified first portion; working fluid and/or oxidating fluid is pumped and/or created in the specified first portion so that movement at least of some hydrocarbons from the second portion of hydrocarbon formation to the third portion of hydrocarbon formation can be caused. The second portion is located between the first and the third portions; at that, the first, the second and the third portions are located at some distance in horizontal plane from each other; the third portion is heated using one or more heaters located in the third portion; hydrocarbons are produced from the third portion of formation; at that, hydrocarbons include at least some number of hydrocarbons from the second portion of formation; at that, prior to heat treatment in formation there formed is gas cap to prevent quick pressure rise during heat treatment up to hydraulic fracturing pressure, to maintain the quality of displacement front during production of hydrocarbons and to provide the possibility of decreasing the power of heaters to the above gas cap.

EFFECT: increasing production efficiency of viscous products.
