FIELD: gas-and-oil producing industry.

SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in following stages: during first time interval heat is delivered to first hydrocarbon layer in bed from first heater installed in opening in bed. Also, the opening and the first heater have in essence a horizontal or inclined part in the first hydrocarbon layer in the bed and at least one connecting part between the said in essence horizontal or inclined part and surface. The connecting part of the first heater is disconnected from in essence horizontal part of the first heater by break of one or several links on the first heater. At least one connecting part of the first heater is extracted from the opening. Isolating material is placed in the opening so, as to at least partially insulate a layer enclosing the said in essence horizontal or inclined part of the first heater. There is formed an additional in essence horizontal or inclined part of the opening in the second hydrocarbon layer. Notably, the said additional part runs at least from one of connecting parts of the opening. There is installed the second heater in the said additional in essence horizontal part of the opening; and heat is delivered to the second hydrocarbon layer from the second heater.

EFFECT: raised efficiency.
