FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device is comprised of a current transducer for transformer winding, ambient temperature sensor, transformer oil temperature sensor for upper layers of oil, humidity sensor for oil where the active part of transformer is submersed and oil temperature sensor inside humidity sensor. All sensors are connected to the corresponding inputs of analog-digital converter, and computing unit coupled with the above converter is provided with digital interface to transfer data on the allowable time of transformer overload to an operator depending on the required level of overload and current thermal state of transformer. Two or more current transducers for different windings are provided for transformers with two or more windings, as well as corresponding specification of algorithm to define allowable time of transformer overload.
EFFECT: improved robustness of transformer equipment due to more credible measurement of allowable values and overload time for power oil-filled transformer.
