FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric power engineering. In accordance with the invention the purpose is achieved with periodic calculation of thermal state of transformer and total capacity losses corresponding to it at three values of the number of switched-on coolers - current, higher by one and lower by one, and selection of the number of switched-on coolers of these three values for the next time interval, at which total losses are less, and at that oil and winding temperature does not exceed specified limit values. In order to perform this principle, there proposed are two versions of control scheme of cooling system with several coolers. As per the first version, the above calculations are made with functional generator, and as per the second version, calculations and selection of the number of switched-on coolers are made with programming digital computing device - microcontroller.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of determining economically optimum number of switched-on coolers in cooling system of high-power oil-filled transformer equipment of electric power stations and sub-stations.
