FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and can be used to estimate efficiency of a wide range of systems. The device for estimating efficiency of large systems additionally includes an efficiency metre which is an apparatus for constantly displaying the generalised efficiency factor of the large system. On the top part of the front surface of the efficiency metre there are three digital four-bit indicators or simultaneously displaying the generalised efficiency factor for the optimistic, middle and pessimistic strategy, wherein bits from left to the right display integers, tenths, hundredths and thousandths of said factor. Under said digital indicators on the front surface of the efficiency metre, there is a panel for displaying curves showing change in the generalised efficiency factor over time, with display on the panel of forecast information and data on the most inefficient element or most inefficient subsystem of the large system.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the device for estimating efficiency of large systems owing to possibility of displaying the most inefficient structural element or the most inefficient subsystem of the large system in real time.
