FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and is meant for determining the distribution law of random quantities and can be used in digital signal processing systems for classifying digital data sequences based on given standard distribution laws. The apparatus for classifying digital signal sequences has an analogue-to-digital converter, n comparators, a first decoder, n counters, a first memory unit, a decoder and a second memory unit 6. The novelty is the change in the design of the first memory unit, introduction of a register, a second decoder, a third decoder and a clock-pulse generator. The apparatus for classifying digital signal sequences enables to classify digital signal sequences based on several given standard distribution laws and enables updating of given standards during operation.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of time and resources when classifying digital signal sequences based on several standard distribution laws.
