FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be applied for stopping profuse ulcer bleeding. Duodenum is exposed, transected and longitudinally cut along up to 8 cm with exposure of bleeding vessel. Vessel is tamponned to the depth up to 1.0-1.5 cm with preliminarily prepared obturator with screw thread, whose diameter constitutes 1.5-2.0 mm and exceeds lumen of bleeding vessel by 0.2 mm. Then, indenting 1 cm from ulcer edge mucous membrane is circularly cut, edges of its internal flap are moved closer and sewn above butt end of obturator with catgut thread, edges of external flap of mucous membrane are moved to basis of internal flap and fixed by means of sutures.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce risk of recurrence, prevent development of post-operation pancreatitis.
