FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovery of CO₂ from gas mix. Proposed method of enriched absorber recovery containing absorbed CO₂ to recovered or depleted absorber whereby depleted absorber at regeneration column outlet is subjected to instantaneous evaporation to produce gas phase. Gas phase is subjected to compression and re-fed into regeneration column. Fluid phase of depleted absorber is subjected to heat exchange with enriched absorber.

EFFECT: reduced load on boiler, hence, electric power savings.
