SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for recovering a hybrid solvent used to remove impurities from a liquid stream and to increase the yield of the resulting purified stream. Preferably, said liquid stream is a natural gas stream. The method includes a purifier and at least one recovery unit, wherein make-up water is introduced into the regenerated lean hybrid solvent prior to reuse in the first purifier, and the water is not re-supplied to the recovery unit. The hybrid solvent contains 5 to 40 weight percent water based on the total weight of the hybrid solvent.

EFFECT: hybrid solvent recovery process removes impurities from the fluid stream and provides improved purified fluid yield.
