SUBSTANCE: invention refers to chemical-pharmaceutical industry, namely a method for producing dihydroquercetin which is regarded as a biologically active agent. The method for producing dihydroquercetin consists in the fact that larch wood grinded to particle size 1-3 mm is extracted in 10-25% aqueous ethanol and boiled for 1-2 hours at irrigating modulus 10-15; the extract is filtered, concentrated in vacuum, cooled and mixed with the four-fold volume of 96% ethanol; arabinogalactan is set; the remained solution is concentrated to produce a dry residue which is mixed with 96% ethanol in ratio 1:50-70, added with activated carbon and boiled for 10-15 minutes; the solution is filtered through a aluminium oxide layer and concentrated in vacuum to produce dihydroquercetin.
