FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: lubricant contains the following in wt % in terms of content of solid substances: (a) graphite in amount of 40-90, (b) organic gasifier in amount of 2-50, (c) inorganic separating agent in amount of 5-50. The organic gasifier (b) is selected from a group comprising melamine, melam, melem, melon, reaction products and adducts of said compounds with cyanuric acid or isocyanuric acid and mixtures of said gasifiers. The inorganic separating agent (c) is a sheet silicate or mixture of sheet silicates. The lubricant can further contain an organic adhesive in amount of 1-20 wt %, as well as an inorganic or organic stabiliser in amount of 2-15 wt %. The lubricant can be in form of a suspension or dispersion in a liquid, preferably in water, with solid phase content of 5-50 wt %.

EFFECT: high resistance to high temperatures, high rolled product quality when rolling a wide range of various types of steel and during production with variable thickness of the wall of the rolled product.
