SUBSTANCE: proposed seal comprises bristle case arranged on rotor or stator. Setae are subjected to inlet pressure on one side and to outlet pressure on opposite side. Note here that inlet pressure exceeds outlet pressure. Said setae rest on rotor or stator from higher pressure seal side to lower pressure seal side, that is, toward outlet pressure.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
