FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method for stabilisation of combustion process in combustion chamber of straight-jet engine, which operates on liquid hydrocarbon fuel, is based on creation of vortex zones by means of flame stabilisers in the form of bluff bodies. Gaseous products of thermochemical conversion of liquid hydrocarbon fuel, which are obtained aboard the aircraft, are blown into vortex zone of after-stabiliser space. Combustion chamber of straight-jet engine of the aircraft includes flame stabilisers in the form of bluff bodies, atomisers for supply of liquid hydrocarbon fuel after stabiliser space. Aboard the aircraft there installed is self-contained thermochemical reactor for production of gaseous fuel from hydrocarbon fuel, which is connected via pipeline to the holes located on internal surface of flame stabiliser, which is located downstream.

EFFECT: improving completeness of fuel combustion and thrust efficiency of an aircraft.
