SUBSTANCE: method for briquetting brown coal material, including sifting of brown coal fines with size of below 3 mm, drying sifted brown coal fines to moisture of not more than 20% and preparation of a binder mixture at the following ratio of components, wt %: melted bitumen - 50 with previously dried and mechanically activated lignin - 50, the produced charge at the ratio of components, wt %: brown coal fines - 90 and binder mixture - 10, is heated to the temperature of 90°C with subsequent briquetting at the pressure of 50 MPa.
EFFECT: production of fuel briquettes.
