FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves the following stages: saturation of core with analogue of brine water, measurement of self-potential of diffusion origin E∂, measurement of electrochemical potential E∂a in preset time intervals, determination of diffusion-adsorption activity A∂a and absolute error of measurement ΔA∂a by mathematical expression, and application of ΔA∂a values obtained for quantitative estimation of hydrophoby of the first space. At that besides estimation of hydrophoby of the first space, degree of jointing in structure of core voids is estimated by A∂a>ΔA∂a value, intensity of jointing is increasing upon increasing of A∂a value.

EFFECT: optimisation of core petrophysical investigations and provision of quantitative estimation of degree of carbonate rock jointing based on these investigations.
