FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry and can be used with the oil and gas deposits development, with the wells geophysical studies (WGS) quantitative interpretation, and with the oil fields operation. Diffusion-adsorption activity based rocks pore space surface wettability evaluation includes the sample saturation with the formation water analogue, diffusional origin natural potential Ed and electrochemical potential Eda measuring, the diffusion-adsorption activity determination, use of the diffusion-adsorption activity Ada value for the pore space hydrophobicity quantitative assessment, characterized in that determining the relative clay content value based on the Ada and values, obtaining the “core-core” petrophysical dependence of the form, determining the diffusion-adsorption activity Ada.gr value, the corresponding to the reservoir – not a reservoir boundary, at that the reservoir area Ada is less than Ada.gr, determining the diffusion-adsorption activity Ada, f value, corresponding to the hydrophobic rock – the mixed wettability rock boundary and in accordance with the Ada value allocating the hydrophobic reservoir area, at which Ada is less than Ada.f and the mixed wettability area (Ada.f ÷ Ada.gr), at that, with the reservoir pore space greater hydrophilic surface Ada is closer to the Ada = Ada gr value.
EFFECT: technical result is the isolation of the pore space surface wettability region type at the quantitative level, simplification of the rocks pore space surface wettability assessing technology, expansion of the known petrophysical parameters using possibilities for the new purpose.
