FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: ballast materials for underwater manifold pipelines contains cement, a filler, a plasticiser and water. Cement is a sulfate-resistant portland cement, and the filler is barite ore and ferromanganese concentrate. Material has the following ratio of components, wt %: portland cement - 8.2-10.5, water - 5.2-6.7, plasticiser - 0.05-0.18, barite ore - 3-17 with density of 3.9-4.1 kg/cm3 and moisture of 1.8-2%, ferromanganese concentrate - 69-82 with density of 4.2-4.5 kg/cm3 and moisture of 3.5-4%. Ratio of water to portland cement makes 0.35-0.5. Filler components have the following grain size composition: 0-0.16 cm - up to 3%, 0.16-1.0 cm - up to 27%, 1.0-2.5 cm - up to 34% and 2.5-5.0 cm - balance.

EFFECT: reduced outer diameter of pipes with a ballast coating.
