SUBSTANCE: method to screw off a threaded joint includes stages of applying a torque for screwing off a nipple with a coupling until ends of the first and second support shoulders are connected and applying an additional torque until the torque value is from 50% to 90% of steel yield strength in the most stressed part of the connection.
EFFECT: higher fatigue strength of a connection.
