FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composition for forming a lubricating coating on a pipe threaded joint containing: melamine-cyanurate; a basic salt of a metal and an aromatic organic acid; and one or more components selected from a group consisting of a pine resin-based material, wax, metal soap and a powder lubricant, in which the basic salt of a metal and an aromatic organic acid is one or more components selected from a group consisting of basic sulphonate, basic salicylate, basic phenolates and basic carboxylate: the amount of melamine-cyanurate ranges from 0.5 up to 30 wt% per the total amount of non-volatile components of the composition, the amount of the basic salt of a metal and an aromatic organic acid ranges from 20 to 75 wt% per the total amount of non-volatile components of the composition, the amount of a material on the basis of pine resin ranges from 5 to 30 wt% per the total amount of non-volatile components of the composition, if the composition includes a material based on pine resin, the amount of wax ranges from 2 to 25 wt% per the total number of non-volatile components of the composition, if the composition includes wax, the amount of metal soap ranges from 2 to 30 wt% per the total amount of non-volatile components of the composition, if the composition includes metal soap, the amount of a powdered lubricant ranges from 0.5 to 20 wt% per the total amount of non-volatile components of the composition, if the composition includes a powdered lubricant. Present invention relates to a pipe joint and to a method of connection of multiple pipes of the oil-field range of sizes.

EFFECT: technical result of the present invention is forming a lubricating coating on a threaded connection with excellent resistance to friction corrosion, without affecting the environment.
